Change can't wait.
For organizations pushing for change on behalf of marginalized groups, the difference in gaining traction and floundering can often be found in how seriously others consider your organization. United WE had solid brand design, done by VMLY&R, but were ready to move their internal communications pieces up to the next level in order to maintain that well-considered brand appearance. UW approached me to extend their branding onto additional forms of communication — case studies, talking points, appeals, and their annual fundraising event design & promotion.
Working to maintain brand consistency, while evolving and extending their appearance, I drafted dynamic layouts that are anything but boring. We wanted UW to continue to stand out from the crowd through sophisticated composition, their brand-specified color palette, and strong use of photography.
